CHECK THIS SITE OUT: Is this your guy? These pictures are probably stolen from some innocent Punjabi man and his daughter. The images have been traced to Queensland, Australia and NOT Dallas, Texas, United States of America

I had the same experience. Self-employed civil engineer from Madison, Wisconsin.

Using fake profile pic of some Turkish model living in US. He goes as Yasir Tareq. Please be careful. He will want to chat on yahoo and he will never answer your queries but will keep questioning and will fall in love with you in two days.

I just want you all to be careful. He was a premium member. I thought premium members were verified.

I will never trust shaadi.com or any other online sites again.

He also goes by the name Taj Wafeeq he contacted me March 14 2015. He came on strong but i was like whatever I'll with it.

A lot of emails about how in love he is with me. They seemed scripted but it was fun and if he turned out real then good. He say his father dies in a car accident some time ago and his mother is all he has left. An that is how he plays u.

At first he asked a lot of questions like he is trying to get to know you, but nvr answers your questions. He sends pictures and at first they seem real but its nvr spontaneous always posed. I asked for a pic of his car which he said was a Mercedes and the steering said Nissan that was my first clue.

Last Friday he said he had to go to England for work and he will visit his mother. An once there he went on to tell me how his mother was afraid because she knows he has been hurt before and i may hurt him.

He told her how good i was and now she likes me and we can be together. He is super charming and puts a lot of thought into what he says. I continued to talk to him, but with more doubt as he seemed to good to be true. There are some good guys out there so I thought just maybe this might be one.

Well he isn't!!!!!! The scam finally happened...he said his mother was sick had a fever. But didn't ask for anything till almost 2 days after his mother was sick. He said he needed 680 Pounds 1000 us$.

Instinct clicked in and I told him no. He played hurt and I told him go to the NHS they good health care in England. He said he tried and i told him he makes 125K us$ he should have the money . He said his money tied up with work.

I questioned why he cant us a credit card or get the money from friends. He had an excuse for all of it. Finally I thought i can get some information on him if I play along. By this time he told me his mother died and it is my fault.

So after 4 days of sweet talking and apologizing to this *** scammer. I got him to trust me and believe i will send him money. This time he asked for 1600 us$ about 1072Pounds. I took a pic of me hold money and said i just came from the bank what should i do.

He said to go to money gram and wire it to him. So I went home and sent him a fake confirmation He text me back he couldn't get the money the number was wrong. So i changed one number and apologized and ever wrote the number down and sent him a pic of the new number. He fell for it and made a second trip to the money gram store.

he said that didn't work either and to get the money back and go to western union. He still didn't pick up that I was playing him. So I told him I went and gave him a fake confirmation number, but he wanted to see the slip so i took an old western union slip and just took a picture of the corner enough to see that it was a western union slip but not to see the number. He noticed that and i played *** and told him to try and pick up the money He did and when he couldn't get the money he told me to call western union.

When I told him i did i went on to say that it was flagged for a fraud transaction. He blamed it on his name and being Muslim. ( just disgusting) He said to send it under the hotel manager Ben Vazi (i am sure another name I am sure he goes by) So i made him wait till the next day. I said i was with family.

He got annoyed, by this but at this point I didn't care. I got a actually western union for and filled it out. The next morning I sent it to him and said I was going to send the money. I filled it out with Ben's name same address 54 Houghton Street London WC2A 2AE UK.

Added a new confirmation number and took a pic and sent to him. Again he fell for it and made his third trip to the store. He text me saying some stores were closed. After a few hours I got a text saying there there is no money.

An i was insulting his intelligence. I said you have to have intelligence for me to do that. I asked him how it felt to be played after playing so many girls. He was a bit shocked and acted like he didn't know what I was talking about.

I said don't act like you don't know what I mean you haven't mentioned your mom in two days. He said a sarcastic thank you and I can go now. I mentioned I know he went by Yasir T. and I'm already gone called him *** and haven't heard from him since.

I know this was a long story but I want everyone to know about him.

Again his names are:

Yasir Tareq

Taj Wafeeq

Ben Vazi His address: 54 Houghton Street London WC2A 2AE UK and Madison Wisconsin

Brilliant, if only more people have the intellect like yours, please do not fall for these people, their acting skills are Academy Awards (Oscars) standard. they will pray upon you and when you are weak, the will milk you for what you are worth.

Shaadi.com is full of scammers. Couple of months back, I received an interest from a lady named Priyanka B (SH7624****) who turned out to be a crooked con artist.

She said that she was a Bengali movie actress (from Tollywood). She asked to meet me. On the first day of meeting itself she asked for a huge sum of money to buy a new ultra high-end smartphone. While falsely acting and telling me that she liked me and that she is interested in marrying me, over the next couple of successive dates, each day she asked me for money to buy costly clothes, jewellery, to pay for astrological consultations, for buying household utensils, for buying an LED TV, for paying her mobile phone bills etc etc..

In the initial couple of days I was foolish enough to give her the financial help but after 6 dates, I became very wary that she was purely using me to buy her costly things and milking my money and I refused to pay for her indulgences. The very next day she said that her father does not approve of me and hence she cannot proceed further. I lost around INR 60,000 of my hard-earned money to help her. Later after enquiring, I found out that she is not even a current tollywood actress.

She had acted in 2 trashy low budget films about 4 years back and after that she had no single tollywood offer as no producers wanted to work with her.

She is totally out of work is actually a con artist and use shaadi.com to lure gullible men to milk them for their money to pay for her monthly family upkeep and her expenses. This is the usual practice she follows and she also freelances as a high end escort service girl.

I feel your pain.. It feels horrible when you find out that people were just trying to use you.. I too had a similar experience...

Beware ladies, Amal Kumar is another profile on shaadi.com that is fake. The person uses the same story as mentioned in other comments.

Claims to be a civil engineer from Dallas and claims to have a 4 yr old daughter. God knows who's pictures he is using.

He is a smooth talker and comes across very genuine but don't be fooled by his charm.... He is a fraud as well.

Thank you for putting up this information. Have you reported it to Shaadi.com?

if not do so so that propagation of this scam stops using this name.

I understand its endless but its best to do our bit of effort.

I have realized that these people are heartless in their pursuit. They don't care who they are hurting.

Beware Raj Sharma from Dallas TX is a big fraud (the 469-XXX-XXXX number is misleading) Looks like he and his accomplices changed the name to Devesh Sharma for BharatMatrimony.com. Such scoundrels do not deserve to be treated as humans.

Playing with emotions and misusing innocent people. This should be posted to Shaadi.com reviews and BharatMatrimony.com reviews so that people find it quickly and are alerted sooner.

Hi All

I was a victim too. For me he came in bharatmatrimony and posed himself as devesh sharma a civil engineer.

the remaining stories were all similar except that his father is a maratha and mother sikh because i asked him so many questions about the pics he sent me. I think this guy is taking the pics of some innocent people from their online profile and build a story around it.

He is using a 469 number which i found out online is in the name of Raj Sharma from Tx. now after seeing the post i see a connection between the stories

when asked to come on video chat, he backed up saying he do not have sophisticated phone or an laptop.

he would buy a IPAD but currently he is busy could not go to the shop. for the past 1mth he was not ready to show his face. he was planning to come see me during weekends, but he got his so called project in london which got extended for two weeks and after that he had to go to thailand to collect his check from a client for a project done in 2011.

he was so nice to provide me all the flight details. he has a 4 year old daughter.

none of his information gel together. waited for him to meet me so that i can get clarity.

currently he is travelling to bangkok with his daughter. Waiting for his call back.

Thanks for posting this information.

Thank god for bringing it to my notice. i agree with you that these peoples are to be nailed and punished

Yeah.. He is always busy for a month or so until he has laid out the trap to pick a emotional string to hang you with.

I am surprised these people are still operating so openly. Anytime I hear Bangkok, Thailand (where rules are not so strict) it brings back the horrendous level to which these people go.

I suggest report to the authorities all the contact details. He is keeping his stories half true so things are right in the middle when we try to dig more info.

Hi,

I was conned by the same person. Absolutely same story.

After reaching Bangkok he called to say he lost his wallet which had all his money and documents. At first he didn't ask me any money. But kept talking about how worried he was and how the police there was not helping, etc. After 2-3 days he asked me if I could help him financially.

Like a class fool, I sent him money!! I also asked him to go to the US consulate and said they'd help. Later he asked for more money, saying his daughter was in the hospital, then again saying he wanted to book his return tickets. When he asked for money to book his tickets back, I realised something was wrong.

No one travelled to a foreign destination with a one way ticket. I told him I have a friend in Bangkok. I'll ask her to come over to help with your daughter and my friend will also arrange for your tickets. He refused to meet my friend.

Kept insisting I send him money.

I told him I have no more money to send. My friend will help and we can later return her the money. I also said as his daughter is unwell having a woman around will be helpful.

But he kept refusing and later got harsh and violent saying he didn't want another person to know his problem. I stopped my communication with him ... but I learned my lesson a little to late.

I was completely ignorant about the existence of such scams.

Now I detect a scammer in the first communication itself.

So beware my friend.

Looks like history keeps repeating. People used this story two years back and are still managing to *** people as seen here:
